The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Federation, under the leadership of Jamal Allam, has appointed Counselor Mahmoud Aabdeen as the head of the Club Licensing Committee.
The committee’s primary responsibility is to meticulously review club licensing applications for professional permits.
The Egyptian Football Federation also announced the appointment of Counselor Mohamed Abdo Saleh as the head of the Appeals Committee, succeeding Counselor Adel El Shorbagy, who tragically passed away approximately two months ago.
The committee, composed of prominent legal figures, includes Counselor Omar Al-Farouk Ismail, Counselor Mahmoud Alaa El-Din Ramadan, Counselor Sameer Mohamed Kamal Ali, and Counselor Tarek Abdel Salam Al-Nafrawi.
Moreover, Counselor Mohamed Sherin Fahmy Abdelhamid has been selected to lead the Discipline Committee. The committee’s members include Counselor Ayhab Al-Sayed Abdelmotaleb, Counselor Essam El-Din Ahmed Mohamed, Counselor Ezzat Abu Zeid Abdelrahman Abu Zeid, and Counselor Mohamed Amin Al-Qarmouti.
These appointments come in the aftermath of the cancellation of the Ordinary General Assembly due to the failure to meet the required legal quorum.
The decision was reached following the recent postponement of the assembly’s meeting last Thursday, and the subsequent second consecutive day on Friday, where only two club representatives were present.
The legal quorum, constituting 25% of the members, equivalent to 32 members, was not fulfilled.
The assembly was anticipated to discuss several crucial matters, including the examination of the Federation’s budget for the past year, the selection of the electoral committee to oversee the upcoming elections, and the approval of the Discipline Committee’s formation.
The decisions aim to fortify the administrative structure of Egyptian football in preparation for future endeavors.
