The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon are considered the favorites for the 8th edition of the CAF Women’s Cup of Nations () CAN in 2012, which is scheduled to start on October 28 in Equatorial Guinea. Coach Carl Enow Ngachu recently revealed the list of 21 players selected for the competition. Among them, 12 professionals play in clubs across Romania, Switzerland, Germany, Serbia, France, and Nigeria, while the other nine Lionesses are part of clubs in the first division of the national championship, including Canon Girls, Louves Minproff, and Franck Rolhicek. Coach Ngachu expressed confidence in his team, emphasizing their motivation and thorough preparation for the tournament.
