Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie wins WSL Save of the Month for November
Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has secured the Women’s Super League Save of the Month award for November 2025, capping a standout period for the Brighton & Hove Albion shot-stopper.
The accolade recognises her outstanding reflex stop in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool at St Helens Stadium, where she produced a decisive intervention late in the first half.
The Nigeria international denied Fuka Nagano’s rising long-range strike, reacting sharply to push the ball onto the crossbar and prevent Liverpool from widening their advantage.
Her effort, praised for its timing and technique, highlighted the authority she has brought to Brighton’s goal since her arrival from Paris FC in the summer.
The November honour marks her first Save of the Month award in the league, adding another achievement to a résumé already featuring three CAF Goalkeeper of the Year titles.
Her selection saw her finish ahead of Liverpool’s Faye Kirby, Aston Villa’s Sabrina D’Angelo and Manchester City’s Ayaka Yamashita, each of whom delivered strong performances during the month.
Nnadozie’s consistency has been central to Brighton’s campaign. She has conceded ten goals in nine WSL appearances, with all strikes coming from inside the penalty area.
Her numbers further underline her influence, as she has made 37 saves in the competition, including 24 from efforts inside the box. Her agility, command and reading of the game have become defining attributes of her performances.
The 24-year-old captures the November award one month after falling short in October, a near miss that she has now converted into deserved recognition.
