Sébastien Desabre, 36 years old, has signed a one-year contract with Cotonsport Garoua in Cameroon, two months after leaving ASEC Abidjan. Desabre aims to help Cotonsport reclaim the championship title in Cameroon. Despite receiving higher financial proposals from other locations, he chose Cotonsport for the sporting challenge and the club’s solid foundation. Cotonsport Garoua has a successful history, winning eleven league titles and five Cameroon Cups between 1997 and 2011. Desabre plans to begin training on November 12, and he is focused on building a competitive team with both Cameroonian and foreign players. He will retain the existing technical staff, with Gabriel Hamam serving as his deputy.
