Head coach of Fulham, Marco Silva, has hinted at regular playing time for Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze.

The former AC Milan star emerged as the hero for Fulham at the weekend, setting up the match-winner against Sunderland, held at the Craven Cottage

Chukwueze was voted Fulham’s Royal Caribbean Legend of the Match for his decisive contribution in the high-stake Premier League clash.

The former Villarreal star came off the bench in the 64th minute and made an immediate impact. He delivered a pinpoint cross that Raúl Jiménez confidently converted, securing the only goal of the match.

Speaking after the game, Silva praised Chukwueze’s influence, while hitting at regular starting role for the winger.

“He had a huge impact. It was a great assist from him, and we’re pleased for him. Now we need him to start games and to keep the intensity throughout the 90 minutes.”

Per the club’s website, Chukwueze topped the fan vote with 39.29%, followed by Raúl Jiménez with 15.60%, while Harry Wilson finished third with 9.77%.
