This match provides Cape Verde, known as the Blue Sharks, with another opportunity to test their skills against an experienced opponent after their historic qualification by defeating Cameroon.
Cardoso de Lima, the general secretary of the Angolan football federation, has confirmed the arrangement of the match. Angola, also known as the Palancas Negras, aims to make a better performance at CAN 2013 after their early elimination in the first round of the 2012 tournament, where they were placed in a group with Ivory Coast, Sudan, and Burkina Faso.
