Rayon Sport of Rwanda, in its quest to reclaim its illustrious history, has successfully secured the services of Didier Da Rosa. Currently the coach of AS Cannes in the French DH (District Honor) league, Da Rosa is enthusiastic about joining the Rayon Sport adventure, stating, “It’s still a very great opportunity, it’s the most popular club in the country, and has a good project,” after signing his contract.
With this recruitment, Rayon Sport aims to live up to its status as the most popular club in Rwanda and aims to reclaim titles that have eluded them for the past five years. Da Rosa expressed his enthusiasm, mentioning, “They saw in me the ideal profile, after having inquired with Richard Tardy, a Frenchman who is the DTN (Technical Director of National Teams) there.”
Rayon Sport plays its home matches at the Amahoro Stadium, the largest stadium in Rwanda with a capacity of 35,000 seats.
