Zamalek’s first football team witnessed the absence of Hossam Abdel Mageed and Mohamed Tarek during the collective training session held on Saturday at the club’s stadium, marking the current international break.
The duo, Abdel Mageed and Tarek, were unavailable for Zamalek’s training due to their involvement in the current national Olympic team camp, participating in a friendly tournament scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates.
Zamalek is gearing up for its participation in the friendly tournament hosted by Al-Wahda Club in Abu Dhabi, scheduled from January 18 to 24.
The participating teams include Al-Wahda from the UAE, Al-Ittihad from Saudi Arabia, and Qatar’s Al-Sailiya.
Following this, Zamalek will engage in the Dubai Challenge Cup from January 26 to 28, alongside Morocco’s Raja Casablanca, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli, and China’s Wuhan Three Towns.
The matches will unfold at the Al-Maktoum Stadium.
