Defender Romain Saiss returns as Morocco coach Regragui names 27-man squad for friendlies
Morocco coach Walid Regragui has announced a 27-man squad for the upcoming friendly matches against Mozambique and Uganda this month.
As part of preparation for the impending AFCON 2025, the North African powerhouse has lined up friendlies to be staged at the Grand Stade de Tanger in order test the strength of their team.
The list included former captain Romain Saiss, who has been absent for a long time, along with the return of Al Ain player Soufiane Rahimi, and Girona midfielder Azzedine Ounahi.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint Germain star Achraf Hakimi has been excliuded from the squad due to injury.
Hakimi suffered a serious injury during Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich and will be out for more than a month.
