The training sessions of the national football team witnessed the presence of Moroccan international Amin Harit, the Bayer Leverkusen player, for the first time after his arrival in Ivory Coast following the funeral of his father in Morocco.
Harit, alongside Roman Saiss and Hakim Ziyech, who have been undergoing individual training for the second week within the “Atlas Lions” camp, appeared on the field as they await recovery from injuries sustained while playing for their respective clubs, Galatasaray in Turkey, and Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia.
Instead of joining the group, Harit conducted his training within one of the sports halls at the residence of the Moroccan national team.
It is worth noting that the Moroccan national team will kick off their AFCON campaign against Tanzania next Wednesday at the Laurent Pokou Stadium, at 6:00 PM local time in Morocco.
The Moroccan national team, in Group 6, will face Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Zambia in the AFCON tournament.
This development underlines the commitment of the Moroccan players, even amid personal challenges, as they prepare to represent their nation in one of the most prestigious football competitions on the continent.
The trio’s individual training sessions reflect their dedication to regain full fitness and contribute significantly to the team’s success on the AFCON stage.
