Due to the Togo-Cameroon match counting for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers next weekend, the Togolese Football Federation (FTF) has scheduled the 5th day of the D1 championship in the middle of the week. On Wednesday, 5 matches were on the program.
Asko secured a home victory against Unisport with a score of 2-0, and Gbinkinti also won at home against Koroki Métété by the same scoreline. This marked the first time in 5 days that Gbinkinti scored a goal in the competition. Sémassi also secured a 1-0 victory at home against Gomido.
AS Douanes de Lomé briefly assumed the leader’s position after a convincing 3-1 victory over AS Togo Port. The match between Agaza and Anges de Notsè ended in a 0-0 draw, and Anges de Notsè continues to search for their first win.
The remaining matches are scheduled for Thursday.
