Orlando Pirates star Relebohile Mofokeng available to face Golden Arrows after injury recovery
Orlando Pirates youngster Relebohile Mofokeng has returned to full fitness ahead of their South African Premier League clash against Golden Arrows.
The 21-year-old has been out of action for the Sea Robbers for a month, with his last appearance coming against Siwelele FC early October in the Carling Knockout match.
Having recovered from injury, the South African international has been included in Orlando Pirates traveling squad to Durban for their Premiership game against Golden Arrows on Wednesday evening.
Mofokeng will add to Pirates’ running engine room of Aswin Appollis, Sipho Mbule and new sensation Camren Dansin in midfield.
Golden Arrows will be a tough costumer for Orlando Pirates, having been impressive under Manqoba Mngqithi. Currently, the Durban-based outfit boast of Sede Junior Dion, who is the leading goal-scorer in the PSL scoring charts with 7 goals.
Mofokeng’s return to the Pirates set up will be against a tricky Abafana Bes’thende who are eighth on the PSL standings with 16 points.
But Pirates are looking for maximum points as it will put them on par with leaders and second placed teams on the standings, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs respectively, who are on 22 points.
