TP Mazembe’s coach, Lamine N’diaye, and goalkeeper Robert Kidiaba have expressed their outrage against the refereeing in the semi-final second leg of the African Champions League against Esperance. Following their 1-0 defeat, N’diaye criticized the Senegalese referee, Badara Diatta, suggesting favoritism towards Esperance. Kidiaba also voiced his discontent and clashed with Esperance supporters. TP Mazembe went on to label Esperance as “thieves” on their website.
