Nigerian international Ademola Lookman scored his first goal of the 2025/26 Italian Serie A season on Tuesday night, earning a draw for Atalanta in their 1-1 draw against AC Milan.
AC Milan took an early lead in the 4th minute through Samuele Ricci, who reacted quickly to a loose ball outside the box and unleashed a stunning long-range strike that flew into the bottom left corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
Atalanta responded with determination, and their persistence paid off in the 35th minute. Mario Pašalić threaded a clever pass to Lookman, who showed brilliant movement to get into the box before firing a superb shot into the roof of the net, drawing Atalanta level.
AC Milan’s goalkeeper Mike Maignan was called into action several times, including a crucial save in the 85th minute when Davide Zappacosta unleashed a powerful shot destined for the top right corner.
Despite late pressure from both sides, neither could find a winner as the match ended in a draw.
