MERCATO: SENEGALESE SOUGOU NOT WORRIED ABOUT HIS FUTURE

Moudou Sougou, the Senegalese international who returned to the national team for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Angola and Liberia, had a challenging season with Olympique de Marseille. Sougou, who joined Marseille during the winter, struggled to secure a spot in the team under coach Elie Baup.

Despite the difficulties, Sougou appears to be optimistic about his future at Marseille. In an interview with La Provence, he acknowledged the challenges of joining a well-established team tactically but expressed an understanding of the need for competition in a club like Marseille. Sougou recognized the importance of having a competitive squad, especially with Marseille qualifying for the Champions League, and acknowledged the normalcy of the club considering reinforcements during the upcoming transfer window.
