The African Nations Championship (CHAN), a competition highlighting players playing in their respective countries, will feature 16 teams for the 2014 edition. The teams will be drawn from different zones in Africa, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), housed in the central zone with Congo Brazzaville, Cameroon, and Gabon, will play its first match on June 26 in Kinshasa against Congo Brazzaville. The return match is scheduled for July 7.
