South African outfit Chippa United FC part ways with head coach Luc Eymael, re-appoint Kanu Vilakazi
South African club Chippa United FC have announced that they have parted ways with head coach Luc Eymael.
In an official club notice on Wednesday, October 22, it said former coach Kanu Vilakazi has been reappointed as head coach.
“Chippa United FC confirms a mutual separation with Head Coach Luc Eymael. We thank him for his professionalism and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
“We are pleased to welcome back Kanu Vilakazi as the new Head Coach. Familiar with our Club’s values and ambitions, he is well-placed to lead us forward in the Betway Premiership League,” Chippa United FC announced in a post on X.
The notice signed by club Sporting Director S. Mali further expressed appreciation to supporters, and assured that management is doing everything to ensure the team performs well in the league.
“To our loyal supporters — thank you for your belief and encouragement. We promise to bounce back stronger as the Chilli Boys,” the notice added.
