Louis Lamotteuis , the first vice-president of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF), has resigned from the football governing body in the wake of the incidents during the Senegal-Côte d’Ivoire match in the decisive qualifying round for the CAN. Lamotte, who was the coordinator of the match, expressed his decision to resign, stating, “I cannot exonerate myself from what happened on Saturday as coordinator of the meeting. So I decided to draw conclusions and resign.” He added, “Every time in the exercise of my duties, problems have arisen, I have taken my responsibilities. And in this case, I cannot exonerate myself. So I preferred to resign.”
