Wael Riad, the head coach of the youth national team, has unveiled the list of players for the upcoming training camp scheduled from January 15 to January 29 in Cairo.
The roster for the youth national team comprises 28 players, among them two professionals: Bilal Mosi from the Dutch club Zvola, holding both German and Dutch nationalities in addition to Egyptian, and Diab Mitaou from the Italian Serie C club Latino Calcio, along with Mahmoud Jafar, a player from Aluminum, making his debut in the squad.
The youth national team’s coaching staff, led by Wael Riad Sheetos, arrived in the Youth City in Luxor on Wednesday to oversee the Egypt U-17 football team born in 2005.
The presence of the coaching staff in Luxor is part of their plan to identify and integrate the best talents into the national team.
During this period, the coaching staff will be based in the Youth City in Luxor, closely monitoring a significant number of players from Upper Egypt.
This initiative underscores the commitment of the coaching staff to scout and nurture talent from various regions, ensuring that promising players are given the opportunity to showcase their skills and potentially contribute to the youth national team’s success.
