Huge demand for Africa Cup of Nations tickets sparks excitement in Morocco

Moroccan football fans are showing remarkable enthusiasm for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The organizing committee revealed that the first phase of ticket sales was met with enormous demand, with 137,250 out of 400,000 available tickets quickly sold. This initial phase covers all 52 matches in the competition.

Officials announced two more ticket sale phases: one starting October 25, and another on November 25. The excitement is not limited to local fans, in total, 211,000 requests for the official “FAN ID” have been submitted, including over 43,000 cards ordered by supporters from 124 different countries.

The committee emphasized that the sole authorized website to purchase tickets is the Confederation of African Football’s official portal, urging fans to avoid unofficial platforms and thanking them for their overwhelming response. They promised to ensure a smooth and safe ticketing process.

With this surge of interest, there’s optimism about the tournament’s atmosphere and Morocco’s ability to host a world-class football event.
