PSG faces concerns over Hakimi’s absence

Hakimi 2

A fresh crisis has erupted within the ranks of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) football club due to the absence of their Moroccan player, Achraf Hakimi, who is currently participating in the Africa Cup of Nations with the Moroccan national team.

According to French media reports, PSG’s coach, Luis Enrique, has informed the club’s management of the necessity to find a replacement for Hakimi, who will be absent for an extended period due to his commitments in the ongoing AFCON tournament with the national team.

Sources have suggested that the French defender Sasha Boey is a potential candidate to join Paris Saint-Germain this month, bolstering Enrique’s options on the right flank.

Currently, Moroccan star Hakimi is temporarily replaced by his French teammate Nordi Mukiele, amidst multiple reports indicating Mukiele’s imminent transfer to Germany’s Bayern Munich in the current winter transfer window.

It is worth noting that the Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi has featured in 21 matches for Paris Saint-Germain this season, scoring four goals and contributing with four assists.

The situation poses a challenge for PSG as they navigate through the domestic and European competitions, with Hakimi’s absence leaving a void that Enrique is keen to address promptly.

The choice of a suitable replacement will be crucial to maintaining the team’s competitive edge in various upcoming fixtures.

As the football world closely monitors these developments, the looming question is how Paris Saint-Germain will strategically manage Hakimi’s absence and ensure a seamless transition for the remainder of the season.
