German giants Bayern Munich have reportedly made a formal approach in their pursuit to sign English defender of Ivorian descent, Marc Guehi.

According to multiple media reports, Bayern are among several top European clubs tracking the Crystal Palace centre-back, whose current contract runs until the summer of 2026.

Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg claims that Bayern’s sporting director, Max Eberl, is a strong admirer of Guehi and has already held initial discussions with the player’s camp.

The Bavarians are believed to be considering a potential move for the 25-year-old, possibly on a free transfer in 2026, depending on the futures of Dayot Upamecano and Kim Min-jae.

However, Bayern face stiff competition for Guehi’s signature, with Liverpool, Barcelona, and Real Madrid all reportedly showing serious interest in the England international.

Guehi is happy at Crystal Palace, although he wanted the move to Liverpool to happen in the summer transfer window.

He is in no hurry to leave, but will also not rush to sign any contract extension with Palace.
