GABON: TWO TOGOLESE ARRIVE IN MOUNANA

Togomounana

Ahead of the inaugural season of Gabon’s first professional football championship, clubs are actively engaged in player recruitment. The reigning champions, CF Mounana, have successfully acquired the services of two Togolese internationals, goalkeeper Mensah N’Souhoho and midfielder Kodjo Amétépé. Both players have committed to a two-year contract with the Gabonese team.

N’Souhoho is embarking on his second professional journey following two years of commendable service with Nigeria’s Enugu Rangers. The former Dyto goalkeeper concluded the previous season as the runner-up in the Nigerian championship with Rangers.

In contrast, Kodjo Amétépé is entering his maiden professional experience, transitioning from Maranatha de Fiokpo to Mounana. This new chapter presents an opportunity for him to establish himself within Togo’s national team, the Eperviers, and contend for a spot among the 23 players set to participate in CAN 2013. These additions complement the presence of two other Togolese internationals, Ibrahim Abdoulaye and Komlan Togaba, already part of the Mounana squad.
