Hossam El-Mandouh, Zamalek’s treasurer, has voiced strong concerns about forces trying to destabilize the club while defending the board’s handling of the October land project.

He stressed that the administration has been transparent and consistent, engaging directly with the Ministry of Housing, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Cabinet led by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly.

“From day one, we’ve emphasized that Zamalek’s position is 100% sound. Some say the deadline issue ended in 2023, and the current board took over at the end of this year. We’ve already spoken with several parties and secured a deadline until 2026,” El-Mandouh stated in televised remarks.

He clarified that past administrations delayed using the land, but the current board has secured approvals and begun steps to develop it. Rumors of selling the land, he insisted, are false and already before the Public Prosecution. El-Mandouh confirmed agreements with state entities and emphasized that the land will be used responsibly to generate revenue.

He warned that misleading claims only aim to harm Zamalek and its supporters, urging unity and trust in the process.
