Zamalek forward Adi Al-Dabbagh is quickly turning himself into one of the standout names of the Egyptian Premier League.

The Palestinian striker has been in brilliant form for the White Castle, finding the net once again in their clash against El Gouna at Cairo Stadium during the eighth round.

His breakthrough came in the 27th minute of the first half. Al-Dabbagh made the most of poor defensive organization from El Gouna, latching onto a fine cross from Nasser Maher before calmly placing the ball past the goalkeeper.

That strike lifted his season tally to three goals, moving him into second place on the league’s top scorers list. He had already scored against Al-Masry and Ismaily, and his consistency has not gone unnoticed.

Currently, he is level with Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, just one goal behind Abdel Rahim Dagmoum and Salah Mohsen, who both lead with four goals.

Zamalek celebrated his growing influence on their official social media, posting, “For the third consecutive match… Adi Al-Dabbagh doesn’t stop scoring.”

The striker arrived from Belgian side Charleroi during the summer transfer window.
