The Sporting Director of Bayern Munich, Max Eberl, believes that Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson is yet to find his feet at the club.

The attacker played his first game in the German Bundesliga for the Champions in their 4-1 hammering of TSG Hoffenheim.

Unfortunately, Jackson struggled to gel with his teammates, and his ability to assert himself was lacking.

After the game, Max Eberl acknowledged Nicolas Jackson’s difficult start, but indicated that he is happy the striker is showing the willingness to adapt to fit in at the new club.

“The time is relatively short, you notice that the connection is still missing.

“He also expects more from himself. I believe there is still more possible.

“We always expect willingness, and he has shown that,” Eberl told Kicker.

Nicolas Jackson, 24, signed for Bayern Munich on the final day of the transfer window for a fee of €16.5.

He is spending a season-long loan with Bayern Munich and could join the club on a permanent deal for a sum of €65 million.
