Marumo Gallants secure signing of former Orlando Pirates winger Katlego Otladisa

Marumo Gallants have completed the signing of former Orlando Pirates attacker Katlego Otladisa on transfer deadline day.

The 29-year-old winger joins Marumo Gallants as a free agent after being released by fellow South African side, Orlando Pirates. The move marks his return to Marumo Gallants, having previously featured for the club back in 2023.

Katlego Otladisa arrived at Orlando Pirates with higher expectation, but his spell took a nosedive, making just 12 appearances for the Soweto giants.

Despite being link with a move to Durban City, Marumo Gallants won the race to secure the services of the attacker to bolster their attacking options.

He signed a two-year deal Marumo Gallants, keeping him at the club until summer 2027. The winger is no new to South African football, having had stints with Orbit College, Mamelodi Sundowns, Ajax Cape Town, Sekhukhune United and others.

Meanwhile, Gallants are expected to announce the deal this week or before they take on Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday.
