Idrissa Gueye will be absent from the upcoming match as Lille travels to Bordeaux for the 9th day of the French Ligue 1. The Senegalese midfielder sustained an injury during his country’s elimination by Ivory Coast in the last qualifying match for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations. Gueye was taken off the field on a stretcher, and subsequent examination revealed that he is dealing with a sprained right ankle. As a result, Gueye is expected to spend approximately ten days in the infirmary, making him unavailable for the upcoming fixture.
