Nigeria international Ademola Lookman has rejoined Atalanta’s first-team training following clear-the-air talks with head coach Ivan Juric.

The forward, who previously played for Fulham and Everton, met with Juric on Thursday morning before taking part in the session.

He also addressed his teammates, admitting he had endured a difficult summer but stressed he is now fully focused and motivated for the season ahead.

According to Italian media, Lookman trained with the full squad as Atalanta prepare for their Serie A clash with Torino this weekend at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino.

The 25-year-old had been sidelined in August after pushing for a move to Inter Milan, a transfer that ultimately failed to materialize.

As a result, he has yet to feature for La Dea this season. However, reports suggest he could be included in the squad for the upcoming league fixture.

Atalanta returned to training still smarting from a heavy 4-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League opener on Wednesday night.
