Al Ahly will be without five key players when they take on Ceramica Cleopatra on Saturday evening in the seventh round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Interim coach Emad El Nahhas heads into the fixture under intense pressure, battling both poor results and a mounting injury crisis.

The Red Devils are set to miss Mohamed Shukry, Karim Fouad, Ahmed Mostafa Zizo, Imam Ashour, and Ashraf Dari, all sidelined through injury.

A club insider confirmed that defender Yasser Ibrahim rejoined training but stressed that a final decision on his availability will only be made after Friday’s closing session, ahead of the team’s pre-match camp.

The source also revealed that Ashour will require at least three weeks to recover after being diagnosed with Hepatitis A, while Zizo faces a similar layoff due to a serious adductor muscle strain.

Al Ahly, struggling for form, currently sit 16th in the league standings with just six points from five matches.
