Nicolas Jackson keen on making an impact at Bayern Munich
Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson is keen on making an impact at Bayern Munich during his loan spell.
This is according to his agent, Diomansy Kamara.
Jackson made a surprise move to the German giants on deadline day from Chelsea, and while the deal includes a €65 million purchase clause, it only becomes mandatory if he plays at least 40 competitive matches of 45 minutes or more.
Despite this condition, Kamara is confident about the striker’s future in Munich:
“Bayern is his priority. We believe this will be a successful partnership in the short, medium, and long term,” he told Canal+.
Reports from the Daily Mail suggest Jackson is not considering a return to Chelsea, where tensions with new head coach Enzo Maresca have made the environment less favourable.
Kamara emphasised that the focus is on having a strong season with Bayern and making decisions that best serve Jackson’s career.
With the Champions League kicking off this week and a high-stakes clash between Bayern Munich and Chelsea on the horizon, Jackson’s situation adds an intriguing subplot to the fixture.
Regardless of the contractual complexities, an alternative agreement between the clubs could pave the way for a longer stay in Germany.
