Sherif Dabou has reached an agreement to join the Interior Club.
FilGoal.com has learned that the player has signed with the Interior Club based on the desire of Hossam Shaaban, the team’s head coach.
Earlier, FilGoal.com had reported that the player had reached an agreement with Farco to join their ranks.
However, the deal did not materialize in the end, with Farco stating that the player did not pass the medical examination.
The 29-year-old has been without a club since terminating his contract with Al-Masry at the end of the previous season.
Dabou made a single appearance for Al-Masry last season as a substitute in a match against Ghazl El-Mahalla.
The player has previously represented the Egyptian youth national team, winning the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in 2013 under the guidance of coach Rabie Yassin.
Currently, Interior Club occupies the 17th position in the Egyptian Premier League table with 7 points.
In their first match of the League Cup, the team secured a victory against Ismaily on Monday with a 1-0 scoreline.
