Rumors surrounding Al-Ameri Farouk’s demise circulated in the past hours, but his family swiftly refuted the news, urging caution in spreading unverified information and requesting prayers for the recovery of Al Ahly’s Vice President.
The family of Al-Ameri Farouk, alongside Al Ahly Club officials, closely monitors the stabilization of his health condition.
This attention is particularly crucial as plans are underway for his overseas travel to seek medical treatment, given his prolonged unresponsiveness to treatment since his hospitalization in November.
Sports commentator Ahmed Shobier, in a broadcast on “ON Sport FM,” disclosed that Al-Ameri Farouk’s condition has been critical since his admission to the hospital, emphasizing the imperative need for prayers for his recovery.
Shobier added that despite some initial response to treatment in the past week, the health situation has deteriorated significantly in the last two days, prompting a return to artificial respiratory support.
In an official statement, Al Ahly Club announced that Al-Ameri Farouk will undergo a medical consultation in the coming hours to assess the feasibility of arranging his overseas travel for medical treatment.
