Achraf Hakimi and Mohamed Salah share top spot in market value among arab footballers

Hakimi 1

Moroccan player Achraf Hakimi and Egyptian star Mohamed Salah jointly top the list of the most valuable Arab footballers, according to data from “Transfer Market.”

The specialized platform in player transfer news elucidated that the market value for both Achraf Hakimi, who currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain, and Mohamed Salah, a key figure for Liverpool, stands at an impressive €65 million.

These figures solidify their positions not only as pivotal players for their respective clubs but also as key assets for their national teams, Morocco and Egypt, heading into the African Cup of Nations scheduled to commence on January 13 in Ivory Coast.

Following closely in the ranking is Moroccan player Naïf Akrad, plying his trade in the English Premier League with West Ham.

According to the same dataset, Akrad secures the second position with a market value approaching €38 million.

In third place is Algeria’s Ismaïl Bennacer, a player for AC Milan, boasting a market value of €35 million.

He is trailed by Moroccan Nacer Mazraoui, who plays for Bayern Munich, securing the fourth spot with a market value of €30 million.

As these players gear up for the African football extravaganza, these market value rankings not only reflect their individual prowess but also serve as a testament to the growing prominence of Arab footballers on the global stage.
