Mohamed Salah has placed Arsenal at the top of his list for this season’s Premier League crown, believing the Gunners now have the edge over Liverpool and Manchester City.

The Egyptian star, who has been a pillar for Liverpool, praised Arsenal’s steady growth and unity. He said the team’s long-standing core gives them a level of connection few others can match.

“I’ve said it before, both today and at the PFA awards, Arsenal are the favourites. They have a team that’s been playing together for five or six years, so there’s a lot of chemistry between them,” Salah said.

He added, “Coach Mikel Arteta has been with this team for this long, and this makes things easier, because the players know each other well.”

Salah admitted Liverpool and City face challenges due to frequent changes in their squads, though Guardiola’s side remain dangerous.

His remarks arrive just before Liverpool and Arsenal meet at Anfield tomorrow, in a game already seen as a major test in the title race.
