Algeria: USM Alger and Mouloudia d’Alger derby moved to Mustapha-Tchaker Stadium

The Algiers derby between USM Alger and Mouloudia d’Alger will be staged at the Mustapha-Tchaker Stadium in Blida this Sunday, the clubs have confirmed ahead of the second round of Algeria’s Ligue 1 season.

USMA announced the venue change in a statement on Wednesday following a coordination meeting held at the stadium.

The gathering brought together officials from the Professional Football League (LFP), stadium management, representatives of USMA, and delegates from National Security and Civil Protection.

According to the club’s release, all logistical and security measures were deemed satisfactory to host the highly charged fixture.
