South African international Relebohile Mofokeng has suffered an injury setback at Orlando Pirates.
The 20-year-old in-demand attacker was not available when his outfit defeated Orbit College FC on Tuesday night to secure second league win of the campaign.
Mofokeng was left out of the squad and had to watch the match from the stands as his outfit managed victory in his absence.
However, head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has confirmed the talented attacker was sidelined due to an injury setback.
“As for Rele, unfortunately, I need to discuss this with my medical department. They informed me that he is not available for selection for this match.
But we still do not have the full details from the examination he needs to undergo. Hopefully, it’s nothing serious, because we really need him.” said Ouaddou
In recent days, Mofokeng has been linked with a potential transfer to Major League Soccer side Minnesota United.
