Galatasaray have reached an agreement with AS Monaco for the transfer of Ivorian defender Wilfried Singo in a deal valued at €30 million.
The Turkish giants are set to bolster their squad with the versatile right-back as they prepare for another demanding campaign at home and in Europe.
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the agreement includes a fixed fee of €30 million, with a further €5 million tied to performance-related add-ons.
Monaco have also secured a 10 percent sell-on clause, ensuring they will benefit financially should Singo move on in the future.
The 24-year-old full-back, who can also operate in central defence, has been one of Monaco’s standout performers since joining from Torino in 2023.
His combination of power, athleticism, and attacking intent down the right flank has made him one of the most sought-after defenders in Ligue 1.
Talks are now focused on personal terms, with Galatasaray keen to finalise the move quickly.
Negotiations with Singo’s representatives are said to be progressing positively, and the player is expected to make a decision in the coming days.
Singo has been on the radar of several European clubs, including Serie A and Premier League sides, but Galatasaray appear to have won the race for his signature.
His arrival would be seen as a major statement by the Istanbul club as they aim to strengthen their defensive options under manager Okan Buruk.
The Ivorian international, capped multiple times by his country, would add both stability and attacking thrust to Galatasaray’s back line.
Buruk has been pushing for reinforcements, particularly in defence, as the club seeks to defend its Turkish Super Lig crown while competing in continental football.
