Mahmoud Kahraba generates excitement as Al-Qadisiyah teases a major signing
Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim Kahraba could be set for a fresh chapter in his career after Kuwaiti club Al-Qadisiyah dropped a powerful hint about his arrival.
On Friday, the club shared a teaser video on its official X account that showed lightning bolts flashing across the sky with electric poles glowing, a clear sign that the deal is close.
The move would mark another stop in Kahraba’s storied football journey. Known for his energy and attacking flair, he has represented some of Africa’s biggest teams, playing for both Egyptian giants Al Ahly and Zamalek. His career has also taken him abroad with spells at ENPPI, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ittihad, Libya’s Al-Ittihad, Turkey’s Hatayspor, and Switzerland’s Grasshoppers.
On the international stage, Kahraba rose through the ranks of the Egyptian national teams, starting from the under-17 side before shining with the senior Pharaohs.
For Al-Qadisiyah, who finished third in last season’s Kuwaiti Premier League behind Kuwait SC and Al-Arabi SC, landing a player of Kahraba’s caliber could be the spark they need to push further.
