Magesi FC have completed the acquisition of former Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Pretoria Collins Nkanyiso Zungu in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old experienced midfielder joins the South African Championship club for the 2025/26 football campaign and is expected to play a huge role aa they seeks to make a meaningful impact.
Zungu, who played for Pretoria Callies last season in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, has had a turbulent journey since his promising start at the Orlando Pirates.
The midfielder joined the Buccaneers in 2019, after helping Stellenbosch secure promotion to the top flight.
After leaving the Bucs, Zungu spent around eight months without a club, then had a brief spell with now-relegated NFD team Platinum City Rovers, before moving to Callies.
Zungu is no stranger to the South African football, having featured for a hosts of clubs in the country. He has 48 appearances in the South African Premier League, serving just an assists across the period.
