Nicolas Jackson set for Chelsea exit as agent confirms imminent transfer

Bayern Munich will not make any approach for the signing of Senegalese forward Nicolas Jackson this summer.

At the start of August, speculation suggested Bayern were considering Jackson as a possible replacement for Nick Woltemade, whose transfer plans were uncertain at the time. While there was genuine interest, it has now been confirmed that a move to Munich is off the table.

According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Aston Villa have instead emerged as frontrunners for the 24-year-old, with initial talks between the club and Chelsea already underway.

Jackson, who joined the Blues in 2023, is expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, with Villa and several other clubs monitoring his situation closely.

Sources have reported today that Aston Villa have already opened talks to sign the striker.

Jackson, who knows his days at Chelsea are over, is patiently waiting for an agreement to be reached with the club for him to complete his move.
