Training Camp Scheduled from January 5 to 8 in Salé as the Young Lionesses Prepare for Crucial World Cup Qualification Matches
The Moroccan U-20 women’s national football team is set to undergo a preparatory gathering from January 5 to 8 at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé.
This strategic camp aims to ready the team for the upcoming fourth and final round of the African zone qualifiers for the 2024 Colombia World Cup, where they will face off against the Ethiopian national team.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced that the Moroccan squad will play the first leg against Ethiopia on Saturday, January 13, at the Al Abdi Stadium in El Jadida.
Subsequently, the team will head to Addis Ababa for the return leg scheduled for January 21.
Coach Stefan Nado extended invitations to 28 players to participate in this preparatory gathering, representing a mix of domestic and international talent.
The list includes players such as Ines Souifi from Toulouse in France, Wissal Tita from the Royal Army team, and Maya Al-Omrawi from Real Sociedad in Spain.
