**Didier Drogba Named MLS Player of the Month for October**
Didier Drogba, the Ivorian striker for **Montreal Impact**, has been named **MLS Player of the Month** for October, following his previous recognition in September.
Since joining the Impact last August, Drogba has made a huge impact, scoring **11 goals in 11 games**. In October alone, he netted **four goals in five matches**, helping Montreal secure **three consecutive wins** and finish third in the Eastern Conference. This strong finish earned the team **home-field advantage** for their playoff match against Toronto FC.
