**Tunisia Take Step Towards 2016 CHAN Qualification with Narrow Win Over Libya**
Tunisia moved closer to qualifying for the 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Rwanda after a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Libya on Monday, in the opening match of the second leg of the CAF North Zone qualifiers.
The decisive moment came in the 76th minute when Saad Bguir, one of Tunisia’s rising stars, found the net to secure all three points for the Carthage Eagles.
With the win, Tunisia now tops the group with six points ahead of their final match against Morocco on Sunday, October 25. Morocco, who currently sit on four points, will face Libya on Thursday, October 22. Libya, the defending CHAN champions, will need a win and hope for a Tunisian slip-up to remain in contention.
The outcome positions Tunisia strongly as they aim to return to the continental stage, with momentum firmly on their side heading into the final group games.
