The Moroccan international, Omar El Kaddouri, has officially inked a deal with Romania’s CFR Cluj, marking a significant move following several trials with European teams, including the renowned Napoli in Italy.
CFR Cluj, in their statement, has not disclosed the specific details of El Kaddouri’s transfer deal, opting instead for a welcoming message that outlines the player’s numerical achievements and his previous stints with various clubs.
The club’s announcement read, “We are pleased to announce our first winter transfer.
As of today, Omar El Kaddouri is our new attacking midfielder, and we welcome him to the Cluj family.”
Highlighting El Kaddouri’s extensive experience, the Romanian team stated, “With a wealth of experience, El Kaddouri has participated in 108 matches in the Italian Serie A with Napoli, Torino, and Empoli.
Over the past six seasons, the Moroccan midfielder played 173 matches for PAOK Thessaloniki, scoring 10 goals and providing 13 assists.”
