Egyptian football captain Mohamed Salah expressed admiration for the country’s Olympic champions during their visit to the Egyptian national team’s training camp.
The national team’s camp is taking place from January 2 to 9 in the New Administrative Capital, featuring a friendly match against Tanzania on January 7 at Cairo International Stadium.
Salah stated, “We always take pride in you, carrying the country’s name high, and I am delighted with that.”
He continued, “I understand the difficulty of individual sports because you are alone, and you are always a source of pride for us.”
Several of Egypt’s Olympic champions were present at the national team’s camp, including Sara Samir, weightlifting champion, Ahmed Elgendy, modern pentathlon champion, and Ali Farag, squash champion.
The training session took place at the Egypt Stadium in the Olympic City in the New Administrative Capital.
The Egyptian national team is gearing up for a friendly match against Tanzania next Sunday at 6:00 PM.
