**Anouar El Ghazi Included in Netherlands Pre-List Amid Morocco Interest**
Anouar El Ghazi, long courted by the Moroccan Football Federation, has been named in a 28-man preliminary squad for the Netherlands by coach Danny Blind. The Oranje will face Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic in October’s Euro 2016 qualifiers.
Should El Ghazi accept the call-up and appear for the Netherlands, he would forfeit the opportunity to represent Morocco in the future.
Earlier this year, the 20-year-old striker admitted he was still undecided about his international allegiance. While Blind continues to pursue him, Hakim Ziyech—another Moroccan-French talent—is notably absent from the Dutch list and is expected to commit to Morocco’s Atlas Lions.
