Togolese international Ouro Akoriko Sadat made an impressive debut in the Saudi Arabian league, helping his new club Al Faisaly FC secure a 2-1 victory against Al Ittihad, the team of fellow international Suley Muntari.
Starting the match, Sadat opened the scoring in the 12th minute by capitalizing on a rebound following a free kick, putting Al Faisaly ahead early. His teammate Fahed Al Saqri then extended the lead just before halftime. Although G. Rivas pulled one back for Al Ittihad from the penalty spot in the 72nd minute, Al Faisaly held on to claim their first win of the season.
This victory was crucial for Al Faisaly, lifting them out of the relegation zone after two earlier defeats in their first three matches. Sadat, who joined the Saudi club at the end of last month from South Africa’s Amazulu in the second division, marked his arrival with an important goal and a strong performance on the pitch.
