Bayern Munich have joined the race for the signing of Senegal international Nicolas Jackson in the current transfer window.
In an attempt to secure his services at the expense of other clubs, the German giants has submitted an official transfer request to secure the signature of the 24-year-old striker.
Bayern Munich is currently compiling a full dossier on the player to make a final decision on the feasibility of the transfer. Both the sporting and financial aspects of the potential deal are being evaluated.
Jackson joined Chelsea in 2023 from Spanish side Villarreal for an impressive €37 million. Since joining the Blues, Jackson has played 81 matches, scoring 30 goals and providing 12 assists.
Last season, the attacker made 37 appearances but found the net just 13 times, raising questions about his future with the club.
The former Villarreal attacker risk losing his position at the club following the arrival of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are holding on to about 80 million pounds for the transfer of the Senegal international.
