Al Ahly part ways with winger Mostafa El Badry
Al Ahly SC has officially parted ways with winger Mostafa El Badry after both sides agreed to terminate his contract.
The move comes as the Cairo giants continue to reshape their squad ahead of the new campaign.
El Badry, who had one year left on his deal, originally signed with Al Ahly in 2021 after a strong stint with El Entag El Harby. Despite the early promise, he never found his footing at the club, spending most of his time away on loan.
The Red Devils first sent him to Modern Sport and later to Smouha, where he saw more playing time. He returned to Al Ahly earlier this season but struggled to break into the starting lineup.
According to a club source quoted by Kooora, the separation was amicable, with El Badry receiving a settlement of two million Egyptian pounds.
With this decision, Al Ahly opens up space for new attacking options, showing they’re focused on fresh energy and sharper competition across the squad.
